Each J model is designed to meet particular design and performance criteria, but all J’s share the same desirable traits of versatility of use, speed, ease of handling and short-handed sailing comfort. Models designated as One-Design (OD) have active owner associations with scheduled class events, strict class rules, and interactive owner websites. Daysail models are single-handed friendly with large, comfortable cockpits for entertaining family and friends. Cruise-Race models offer the best of both worlds – overnight accommodations for cruising, and race-winning performance whether around the buoys or point-to-point. Sprit models are equipped with the innovative retractable carbon bow sprit with asymmetrical spinnaker.
